Smoothie Saturday
Welcome to another edition of Smoothie Saturday. I hope you’ve had a wonderful week and now you’re home relaxing with family or friends and soaking up every moment.
Last week I had a fabulous guest post by Charlee at Humble in a Heartbeat. If you missed her amazing Peach n Blueberry Bash Smoothie, you can find that recipe here. Since I’m always looking for great smoothie recipes, I was so happy to have Charlee here to share one of her favorites.
Each Saturday I feature a new smoothie recipe, either a new one I’ve tried and fallen in love with, or I may feature one of my blogging buddies smoothies too! Today I’m sharing one of our favorites at home a tasty Strawberry Smoothie. It’s great for a snack for the whole family to enjoy. My son fell in love with this one, and now he even makes a special request for this yummy one.
Strawberry Smoothie
Ingredients
1 Cup - Orange Juice
1/4 Cup - Plain Greek Yogurt
1/4 Cup - Mango (frozen)
1 Cup - Strawberries
1 - Banana
1Tsp. - Honey
4-6 - Ice Cubes
Protein Powder and/or 1Tsp. Flaxseed (Optional)
This recipe makes about 16 oz. Enjoy!
Add all your ingredients into your blender and mix until fully blended. Now you’ve got a super tasty and refreshing Strawberry Smoothie in honestly under 5 minutes. The hardest part of making this smoothie is just rinsing the fruits and measuring the ingredients.
I think this recipe is better than getting a smoothie from a local smoothie shop, it tastes that good! Maybe I’ve become a smoothie snob, but either way if it’s homemade it just tastes better, right?!!
I hope you enjoyed today’s blended Strawberry Smoothie. Let me know what you think after you try it. What’s your favorite smoothie? I’m always looking for new recipes to share and I’d love to hear what your favorite flavors happen to be.
Have a great weekend! I look forward to sharing another smoothie with you next Saturday.

When I stopped eating flavored yogurts, I started making smoothies. I don’t like the taste of plain yogurt but in a smoothie it’s great! I can’t wait to give your recipe a try!
